Day 48 -- Not so happy for pictures

We had to pick up the pictures we had made of Little Elvis two weeks ago. The JC Penneys is in the same mall as The Picture People, which turns around pics in less than an hour.

We had a coupon for a free Easter pic, so we decided to get a new pic while picking up the old ones. Since we didn't set an appointment ahead of time, we decided to wait until we were there to feed Little Elvis (he ate about an hour before we left.)

Our plans didn't quite work. The guy at the Picture People offered to take the pics right away. We quickly changed our model into his Easter outfit and hoped for the best.

Little Elvis was decked out in a blue and white gingham outfit, Bob in a t-shirt and stubble and me in a terry cloth hoody. The photographer wanted to take a family pic!

After a few poses of a precious (and getting fussy baby) and his schlubby parents, Bob asked for solo portraits.

Little Elvis then started crying. The poor photographer was so patient with us. Finally we had to cut the session short.

I took our crying sweetheart out into the lobby, on the way to Target's bathroom. A woman at the studio, offered to let us feed in a portrait studio. That was so kind of her. So we pulled the curtain and Little Elvis got to eat while I stayed comfortable.

And, there were a couple of super sweet photos.

I am now an even bigger fan of this portrait studio!

They are really good about nursing at The Picture People now because they got sued last year for asking a mom to leave for feeding her baby.

That is soooooooo awesome that they let you do that.

I once had to sit on a toilet at the mall in the public restroom with the door partially opened b/c me, the baby, and the stroller didn't all fit.

It totally sucked.
I think EVERY mall ought to have a "family room" or lounge area of the restroom for nursing.
