Rolling over and getting stuck

Little Elvis has been rolling from his back to his tummy and he's not happy about it. He mainly does this during his sleep and ends up waking up on his stomach confused and unhappy.

I've been going in and changing his diaper and feeding him, but I wondering if I should just roll him back on his back -- any thoughts?

The Tadpole has this same problem. We were at the doctor yesterday and he said that her dislike of being on her belly would be an incentive for her to learn to turn over. So my new game plan is to leave her on her tummy until she gets really fussy or I can't take the fussing any more. Whatever comes first.

I'm having similar problems but my son rolls from his stomach to his back and wakes up. I have tried rolling him back over and even putting the passifier back in his mouth. It hasn't worked with me. Let me know if you find out a solution.

BTW-I have been following you since Amanda Summerlin told me about your site. WE were due around the same time. My due date was 2/18 but I delivered on 2/17.

Hi Courtley, you actually delivered on my due date! We were 6 days early.
Since I wrote about the tummy wake up issue, he hasn't been rolling over in his sleep. This makes our nights a lot better, but I hope it doesn't keep him from learning how to do a complete 360.
