Slappy's up to no good

This morning I realized that Slappy wasn't trying to look out for Little Elvis yesterday morning, she was trying to wake him up!

How did I come to this conclusion? She woke my little boy up three times this morning as I was trying to get him to sleep!! Grr.

I had him almost asleep and she bounded into the room meowing up a storm. Ever tried to shush a cat? It doesn't work. Instead, I just helped her wake him up.

He blinked his little eyes and I quickly worked to get him back to dream world. What did that cat do? Start getting demanding all over again!

I finally gave up after Little Elvis' eyes opened for the third time. Evil cat.

Now I realize she probably wasn't intentionally trying to wake him up. She just needed attention this morning, just like she does at 6:30 every morning. This is another thing I like to growl about.

I'm seriously considering carrying a water gun with me in a little holster now.

My dogs often go into my 9 week old daughters room and wake her up. It makes me so angry, considering getting her to actually sleep is a feat unto itself!

We have doors to our, we can close off Gage's bedroom door, and close off the hallway completely. So, that's good about our house. Even if the dog barks...there's so much distance and at least 2 doors in between the dog's mouth & the baby's ears!

I'd have to slap little Slappy!
