We have a shrieker
Little Elvis has a new talent -- he shrieks. He's not angry when he does it either, but he can sound upset.
It started last week. He began drawing out his coos, holding them for several beats. Then he started going into a higher register at the end of his long coos, and before long they were completely high pitched.
My mom says he's testing his lungs. My dad says he sound like the dinosaurs on Jurassic Park.
Right now it's really cute, but I'm wondering how long it will last.

I'm laughing because I remember vividly when Peanut discovered his voice. Made for some very loud days.
Come to think of it, he's still loud.
Awww...that's cute.
...um, Gage is almost 2 & he's recently discovered that he can scream at the top of his lungs, and it gets attention.
Yeah...it was cute...the first few times.
Now he likes to bust that move in public places or large family gatherings...
We have a family vacation coming up. I have a feeling this new talent might wear on some of my relatives' nerves. We'll see.
