Big accomplishments

Our internet connection has been spotty at best over the past few days, which is awful timing. Little Elvis has been a busy, busy boy.

Where to begin?

After weeks of trying, he managed to roll from his tummy to his back all by himself! He did it three times on Monday, then forgot how on Tuesday. I'm sure it'll come back to him.

He's also got two teeth coming in! You can't quite see them, but you can definitely feel them. He's been stuffy for a couple of weeks and that's a symptom of teething, so part of me is glad they're coming in. Other parts of me are not so excited...

Little Elvis has tried rice, carrots, green beans and oatmeal -- he likes the veggies best. His favorite thing at mealtime though is his spoon. He's discovered that whacking it on his Bumbo tray makes a nice noise.

He's also extremely interested in the cats. He cried for a bit yesterday when Slappy wouldn't let him touch her.

And he managed to get himself off his play blanket on Sunday and over to my sandals, which were a couple of feet away. They were very appetizing and he quicly put one in his mouth before I could grab it away. Bob said that was Little Elvis' version of Sole food.

Mean internet. I better stop now before I lose my connection again.

You're going to have to start baby-proofing....

...and still, no matter how prepared you are for his mobility, he'll still find a way to put everything you don't want in his mouth--in his mouth.

at one point, when we were visiting my mom, Gage was LICKING HER FLOOR. I freaked out! her response: oh it's how they learn...

well....then later or the next day, Gage rolled over near the wall at her house...i looked down, and he was sucking on a door-stop.
UGH.

lol he's on the move! Zach doesn't have any noticeable teeth yet, thankfully lol But I'm not looking forward to that either. Ugh! It usually only takes your one OUCH! to let them know that no, that's not a teething toy LOL
