Little Elvis visits museums
Bob's aunt and uncle looked at the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Magna Carta.
We examined the marble benches, the water fountain, the carpet in the entrance to an exhibit on the National Archives, some grates in the same exhibit...
The security guard loved his puppy dog leash, and told me he wished all parents had them. There were some marble steps that Little Elvis really wanted to examine, but I was easily able to keep him away. Apparently, those steps are attractive to all toddlers.
We also trekked to the National Museum of Natural History. Little Elvis wasn't too enthused by the dinosaurs, or the Hope Diamond.
Actually, not even a banana from the gift shop helped. Maybe next year he'll be more impressed.

hopefully the next museum visit will be more, er, interesting.
thanks for stopping by thelittlebean.... the mr. never gets comments & he's the funny one! loved his response to you as well.
This is why I am telling T that we need to take J out NOW!!! While he is still enamored by the clip on the strap of his stroller. And, while we can still sing Old MacDonald to calm any and all meltdowns! Ugh.
Still . . . I *heart* little Elvis. He can come and hang with J any time!
LOL Well, at least you didn't have to wait in lines to look at that stuff :)
We had to stay in DC for about 6 months, and I tell ya, some of the museums didn’t have much for me either!
You are a very brave woman. We did not do too many museums when M was a toddler.
I agree with Marla you are a brave woman, i wouldn't dare take either
