The many loves of Little Elvis

Little Elvis is becoming more of a finicky eater every day. I am blaming the two molars that are just starting to poke out of his little gums, but then I've always blamed his teeth for any problem that we're having.

Still, he does have some go to favorite foods. One of them is obviously pudding. He's been working on using a spoon with the messy stuff, but typically, he just digs in with his fingers. Mommy taught him how to "drink" from a bowl and he thinks it's a novel way to get the good stuff from the bowl and into the mouth.

You can kind of see the outline of the bowl on his little face.

Think KozyShack needs a spokesperson?

He may like chocolate pudding, but that's a rare treat. His favorite regular food is blueberry. Followed by banana, pear and strawberry. Little Elvis also likes bread, but he could really do without veggies and meat at this point.

As usual, Mommy raises her fist and says, "Darn teeth!!"

Another love? The outdoors! Little Elvis has become a big fan of being outside.

He likes to run around and touch everything. You may not be able to see it, but in this pic, he's holding a branch. In his world, sticks are good. But rocks trump sticks and cell phones trump everything!!

Little Elvis still likes to chill in his stroller and he knows the routine that goes down before walks. He rushes to the door and will even grab the keys out of the key bucket thing by our door and hold them up to the doorknob.

He is not patient, our little guy. Our new stroller, while extremely cool, is also heavy. I can't take him and the stroller out in the same trip.

I have to trick him to get him away from the door long enough for me to get myself and the stroller out of the door. He runs to the door as soon as he realizes what I've done and bawls until I open the door to get him.

He also bawls when I try to take him back inside after he's been allowed to run around the yard.

I love how everything is new and fascinating to him. And that he needs to inspect absolutely everything.

lol that boy does like that chocolate! Zachy doesn't like being in the stroller much at all - but truthfully, we haven't taken him on many walks - it's been too damned cold. Now it's getting nicer, we'll go for more walks and then we'll have to wrangle him more lol

He also loves to touch and pick up everything - particularly sticks lol

Look at that little guy go! Gosh is he cute!!!

"but then I've always blamed his teeth for any problem that we're having." ME TOO!!!

He didn't sleep well last night . . . it must have been the teeth!!!

He's fussy. It is his teeth.

He's being picky with his food. Must be his teeth.

We are in an economic crisis. Must be his teeth!

What an adventurous little kiddo you have on your hands. Our MR likes cell phones, but keys trump all for him.

Oh my goodness! What a mess! So glad you caught that mess with the camera.

Kids do help us see the wonderful in everything we take for granted.

So, so cute. That pudding pic is precious! is the excuse for everything! I use it all the time!

Also, I am glad to see that my child is not the only one facinated with cell phones. We even have an old one we charge up for long trips or special trips. Even then, he knows it's not the real deal. How?? And Lil Elvis with the keys?? do they get this smart?

Litte Elvis & Gage sound a lot alike. Gage LOVED blueberries...for the longest time. Then he discovered the wonderful world of grapes. So, now---every time I offer blueberries, he tells me, "These are not trapes!"

And he loves all things outdoors.

....and you should totally send that picture in to KozyShack. I am assuming it's a brand. I've never had that, but the picture is pretty convincing for its "awesomeness!"

Going for a walk is such a production, isn't it? It's such a cool thing to watch kids explore their worlds.

PS: Love those eating pictures!
