Why Mommy dreads bathroom breaks

They shouldn't be called potty breaks. Bathroom trips are not for the weak. And they certainly aren't "breaks."

Little Elvis LOVES bathroom breaks. Now that I've taken the bad stuff out of his drawers, he's moved on.

And discovered the wonders of the toilet paper roll. It rolls, it has soft paper on it! The paper can be torn into jibbles! And if Mommy's not looking, it can be eaten! (I've pulled several bits of paper out of that sweet little mouth.)

He's also fascinated with the toilet itself. Bob keeps saying he'll put a lock on it, but the only time Little Elvis is really interested in the inside of the toilet is the split second it takes me to stand up and try to slam down the lid. That's when he wants to get into the toilet.

So, to remedy the craziness of the bathroom I've brought in some reinforcement. We now have bathroom books. The options include "Bunnies on the Farm," "Take a Look Down at the Ground!" and "Count with Me!" I'm hoping these will keep his attention long enough for me to flush and wash my hands.

Sweet little curious boy. Oh! And he's working on his second word. He's got "dada" down cold. What's the second word? Cat.
Watch out Slappy and Wally!

Aw! cutie patootie! Don't worry, you may be able to pee alone sometime in the future again. Of course by the time I got to that point, I went ahead and got preggo again:)
Just wait, pretty soon he may just try to wipe you like my girly always wants to.

LOL I just have to laugh, kids seem
to heart toilet roll so much. My girls decided stuffing a full roll
down the toilet today and flooding the place was a wonderful idea.
