High chair hijinx
Remember my high chair question a few weeks ago? Little Elvis answered it.
I had decided we would keep him in the high chair for as long as possible, which was about 2 weeks.
The only reason we got this video, was because I shot it while both Bob and I were home. And you'll hear me telling Bob to hurry because Little Elvis' high chair scaling skills are pretty good.
Obviously, we put it to music -- a theme song this time!
We bought the travel booster seat around Christmas time last year. It's great in a pinch, but I'm not liking it for everyday use. Maybe it's just something different that I need to get used to.

Wow-those are some impressive climbing skills. I'm not a fan of the travel booster seat either. We have the same one. But I have seen much sturdier ones at Babies R Us. Some even clip onto the table!
Yes - it's time! He's a cutie!
Have a good evening - Kellan
Great skills! Looks like he's ready to move on . . .
I just put Esme (16 mo) in a regular chair (no booster, she kneeled part of the time) last night at an Indian restaurant. There was a bit of a mess under her chair, but overall, I was amazed at how well she behaved. Now that I've written that, watch it be totally different next time.
At home she uses a travel highchair that straps onto the chair and could be used as a booster seat if we left the tray off. It is a pain to move around and restrap everywhere, so we generally just leave it where it is and don't travel with it.
i just have one question...
can he get any cuter??? wow!! i love the squinted up face he does... he is just adorable. and those climbing skills are awesome will only get stronger and better... let me warn you now. lol
was he saying "all done" before he tried to climb out?? I thought that was what I heard. I love it!!

Jennifer--
You might be right. I don't think we are very good at interpretting his words. I've been working on "done" for weeks. Maybe he's been saying it, and I just didn't know it!
Mags is doing the same thing - but our chair is more open...so now I say to her, "want a snack?" and she climbs up and sits in the chair...it is pretty cute. They sure are monkeys at this age!
As alsways - love your videos!
HA! Oh yeah!! He's outta there!!! That hasn't occurred to Ben yet. I'm just waiting.
