Free candy and free tacos!

Halloween was pretty fun this year. While our other Halloween's with Little Elvis were fun, he was so much more involved this year that we all enjoyed it more. We started out the day by carving the pumpkin. Daddy did all of the work, but Little Elvis was happy to pose with the finished product.

That evening, we tried out the new and improved version of his Halloween outfit. I cut the band off of his orange witch hat, put more tape around it, and added some ties so it would stay in place. We also went with a white turtleneck.

I think it turned out pretty well. People who knew what he was supposed to be thought he looked like a traffic cone. People who didn't know were just plain confused.

Since we are big fans of free food, we took advantage of the free BlackJack taco deal at Taco Bell.

Thanks to commercials, Little Elvis knows every fastfood joint in the area. He demands to go to one whenever he hears or sees a commercial, or sees the actual restaurant. He's been wanting to go to Taco Bell for weeks. I told him that he would not eat their food, but he just knew he would love it.

He licked at his Blackjack taco, then pushed it away. I think it's safe to say he's probably not going to request a Taco Bell visit again any time soon.

I didn't even think of candy corn! That would have been cool, because Little Elvis loved the small sample I gave him a few weeks ago. He went berserk!
