Baby Plum's thoughts on food

Baby Plum is quickly becoming a picky eater. Anything green is not willingly accepted. Pretty much only fruit, Cheerios, milk and sweets are welcome.

I've discovered that Little Elvis will tolerate some veggies if they are served in pancake form. He loved the potato pancakes I made on Friday. Baby Plum? Not so much.
This picture sums up their reactions.
He also likes hot dogs from Sam's. He likes to try whatever they sample. And this willingness to try things has rubbed off on Little Elvis, at least a little bit. They fought over a quarter of a chicken sandwich the other day. One would yell, then the other would. The folks around us thought this was funny.

Here Baby Plum is on the run from some peas. He wouldn't listen to my pleas to "Give peas a chance!"

Oh, the picky eating stage. How I hate it. I have one toddler who will pretty much eat anything, and the other will eat pretty much nothing.

Have you tried hiding veggies, a la, Deceptively Delicious?

well, i mean, not funny. but you know. the pix and all. (:

good luck getting out of this stage.

have you tried just letting him not eat it? and over time... he may?
we just make littlebean's plate... whatever it is. the meat, veggie, all that. and give it to her. then she has control over it. and she usually eats it all. but we're prepared to let her just choose whatever and be done. rarely does that happen.

you know what an issue food is to me, so i'm sure her time will come! the only thing she will NOT eat that we've found so far is tuna fish.
