cleaning out Bob's office last week, I found a black briefcase. He doesn't use it, and I thought it might work well as a prop if Little Elvis comes up with a spy movie.
Little Elvis wasn't impressed.
But Baby Plum was! He loves it! He calls it his luggage. He is confused when we call it a briefcase. He's filled it with all sorts of toys, and carries it all over the house. He even takes it with him in the morning to school. He leaves it in the car. He took it to my parents' house last week as well. That's because it needs to go with him on vacation. He doesn't pronounce it the southern way, though. He calls it vuh-CAY-shun. He's taken his luggage all over the place on vacation. Sometimes Little Elvis gets in on this game.
He's also created other luggage games. There's good guy/bad guy that he plays with Bob. I attempted to play it the other day. I was the good guy. I took it into the room he wanted and stood there. Then he came in and looked at me. Then he laughed. I didn't know what I was supposed to do with my luggage. Maybe run?
He also likes to have Bob hide the luggage, and he will look for it. I may not be good at making up these games, but I'm a decent seeker. It helps that Bob kind of has an M.O. for hiding luggage.
Oh, the pirate eye patch? A party favor. He needed to wear it while going on vacation.
Even if we never make a spy movie, it was a great idea to bring it home.
